EXERCISE

Exercise Sea Thunder 2009:       Every year BN conducts annual sea exercise involving the sister services, Coast Guard and other maritime organizations. To make the exercises scenario more realistic and pragmatic besides all other traditional Naval exercise, this year Gunboat diplomacy, Amphibious Raid and deference against Amphibious Raid were incorporated. Exercise Sea Thunder 2009 mainly focused on amphibious operational readiness of fleet to perform her role in peace time crisis, demo the wartime preparation as well as to increase jointness and inter operability among the armed forces along with related maritime agencies.
