The
slipway is a repair facility to provide repair and
maintenance support to ships of Bangladesh Navy. It is
also situated on the bank of river Karnuphully. The
Slipway can dock two smaller ships up to 150 tons
displacement. It also undertakes new construction
projects such as construction of boat, pontoons as
required.
